WMPA 2009 Show
The annual All Breeds\All Age show of the WMPA!
November 7, 2009--Drenthe, MI, USA
Held for the first time at Drenthe Community Grove in Drenthe, Michigan the annual WMPA All Age\All Breed show was a big hit. Both an Open Show and a Rare Breeds Meet the show boasted a special Junior Award, both an Open and Rare Breeds Champion with a final Show Champion or "Best of Show" selection.
With over 160 birds and a 40 bird sale section this annual show is indeed growing and looking to expand in 2010. The two raffles were quite popular with exhibitors and visitors alike and were well stocked with prizes for all (feed, grit, carrying cases, art work, published materials and more!)
The WMPA was honored to have Larry Gardner (open show pictured right) and Don Chevalier (rare breeds) as show judges and Bob Jakubowski won Best Rare and Show Champion with his Blue Spangle Fairy Swallow.
The WMPA strives to support and grow the pigeon keeping fancy largely through its annual show and with healthy participation from all ages at this year's show it appears to be working. Your continued support through attendance and\or participation in this annual show is greatly appreciated!
